Tequila Olmeca Altos comes to us from the Los Altos region in Jalisco, more specifically from the town of Arandas. It is a unique collaboration between Olmeca’s own Master Distiller Jesus Hernandez and the internationally renowned UK bartenders Henry Besant and Dre Masso. The juice is a unique 50/50 blend of very traditional tahona method and more modern roller mill technique, giving it the perfect balance of old and new. All agaves used are estate grown exclusively for the brand, allowing only the best of the best to make it to the traditional stone-clay ovens where they will be cooked. Keeping in the traditional method of generations of tequila makers before them, the mosto is distilled in small copper pot stills. Join us this month in raising our glasses to celebrate this new to the market brand that insists on keeping it colorful. #ALTOS “The Colors of Tequila”
